Beschreibung der Lehrveranstaltung. Der Kurs führt in Gegenstandsbereiche, Fragestellungen und Methoden der Linguistik ein. Der Schwerpunkt liegt dabei auf den verschiedenen Ebenen der grammatischen Strukturbildung - Phonologie, Morphologie, Syntax, Semantik und auf den angrenzenden Teilgebieten Phonetik, Graphematik und Pragmatik.
Einsichten in die Wirkungszusammenhänge lassen sich beispielsweise für die Universalienforschung, für die Spracherwerbssituation, bei Gedichtinterpretationen in der Literaturwissenschaft und für den Einsatz von Produktnamen in der Werbekommunikation nutzen.
